This was a day where members met up to complete projects of their choice. Some of the work shown here reflects some of the diverse projects that members work on during the day. Best of all is the lunch enjoyed by everyone, with a variety of delicious food brought along by members.

Members Stoke City
The Picture left shows one of the members working on a quilt for her grandson who supports Stoke City. This quilt was advanced after seeking advice from one of our experienced quilters attending the UFO.

This member worked on a Linus quilt. This project for Linus is worked on by many members of the Ps&Qs group and the UFO day is an opportunity for members to work on this project

Harebell project

Several of our members worked on a Harebell project started at a workshop taught by Amanda Hall of Monkey Buttons The workshop was attended a few days before the UFO day.  So the UFO day gave members an opportunity to work on this project again while still fresh in their minds.
This member was working on blocks design demonstrated by Lyn Edwards in a previous workshop . At the UFO day she had completed several blocks and was putting to them together using the technique Quilt-as-u-go, She also demonstrated to some members who had not seen this technique before how this is done.

The picture on the left shows a member working on a quilt started by someone else, she decided to complete the border at the UFO day as this gave her an opportunity to use the long table available.

This picture shows a member who worked on colour wheel/Kaleidoscope project, this shows the first half completed. Looking Good!
